TIA closed for on-campus instruction on March 16, 2020 in accordance with state and county mandates regarding COVID-19. Both the elementary and middle school campuses remain closed to students and visitors until further notice.
To reopen schools for in-person instruction, counties must not only move into the red tier, but remain there for at least two weeks, according to the new guidelines. That means a county must effectively have at test positivity rate under 8 percent and fewer than 7 new cases (daily) per 100,000 residents for at least a month to reopen schools. Purple-tier counties can still apply for elementary school reopening waivers.
Please see the State of California's COVID-19 website for updates on the status of counties.
